The hydraulic pipe cutting machine is a widely used tool for cutting different material pipes.such as carbon steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, HDPE pipes, and cast iron pipes etc. The pipe cutting machine can be commonly used in the manufacturing industry, construction industry, petrochemical industry, etc. The benefits include being lightweight, easily portable, and simple to operate on site. Safe cutting with no sparks. Also. Our pipe cutting machine quality can be a replacement for Victualic-Tuwei.  So. How to operate a pipe cutting machine?

  1. Keep work zone clean and lighted. Keep floors dry and free of slippery materials such as oil. Do not operate cutting in explosive atmospheres.
  2. Plug the Power Drive into the electrical outlet making sure to position the power cord along the clear path selected earlier. Check the Power Drive to ensure it is operating properly. Depress the switch and make sure it controls the stopping of the Power Drive by releasing the switch.
  3. Check the whole machine’s condition before starting work: Begin idling and observe the machine’s rotation. Ensure there is enough hydraulic oil and avoid cutting pipes when oil levels are low.

4. Position the pipe: Select the appropriate roller set based on the size of the pipe, then place the pipe onto the roller and pipe stand. When cutting pipe in lengths of 18″ or longer, pipe supports must be used. Ensure that the pipe stand is positioned at a distance equal to 3/4 of the pipe length, 400mm / 1.3 feet from the pipe end. and adjust the height of the pipe stand to level the pipe horizontally. If the tube is too long, choose to use two pipe stands.

5. Cutting pipe: choose the proper cutting blade as per the pipe material. Adjust the relief valve, and give the handle a good shake to ensure the blade makes contact with the pipe. Connect the power, flip the switch, select the appropriate speed, and slowly shake the feeding handle to initiate the pipe cutting process. As the pipe nears the point of being severed, cease shaking the handle and allow the blade to make a few additional rotations – the pipe will be cleanly cut automatically.

6. Checking the cut pipes: After cutting is finished, turn off the switch, release the relief valve, remove the pipe, and check the pipe cut.

Note: As shown below illustration, the cutter and pipe supports must be positioned so that the pipe sections have a tendency to fall away from the cutter blade as the pipe is cut. If the cutter wheel is pinched by the pipe, it will damage the cutter wheel.

7. Machine Storage: clean up the pipe cutter in time, especially the blade part. Store the tool in a locked area that is out of reach of children and people unfamiliar with pipe cutting machines. This machine can cause serious injury in the hands of untrained users. Motor-driven equipment must be kept indoors or well-covered in rainy weather.

Our Welping Pipe cutting machines offer the advantages of efficiency, precision, automation, versatility, and safety to meet a wide range of pipe cutting needs. The pipe cutting machine is equipped with a high-performance blade with a cold extrusion process, no sparks, dust, and metal iron filings, which help to make your work very safe and more efficient.
